Through a point of agreement approved on July 11, 2018, the Legislative Assembly of Mexico City urged the Head of Government and the Secretary of Finance to comply with the order issued by the Eighth District Judge on Administrative Matters in Mexico City in amparo 284/2018, sponsored by Rusconi Abogados, in order to make them transparent the funds allocated for reconstruction after the earthquake that occurred on September 19, 2017.
It is worth noting that on April 4, 2018, the Eighth District Court on Administrative Matters in Mexico City admitted an amparo, sponsored by Rusconi Abogados, against the Head of Government and the Secretary of Finance of Mexico City, on the grounds of their abstention in issuing the rules that make it possible for the Fund for the Reconstruction of Mexico City, which amounts to $5 billion pesos, to be exercised in favor of the victims.
