Through a resolution approved on July 11, 2018, the Legislative Assembly of Mexico City urged the Head of Government and the Secretary of Finance to comply with the order issued by the Eighth District Administrative Court in Mexico City in the amparo 284/2018, sponsored by Rusconi Lawyers, to transparently manage the funds allocated for reconstruction following the earthquake on September 19, 2017.
It is worth noting that on April 4, 2018, the Eighth District Court in Administrative Matters in Mexico City admitted an amparo, sponsored by Rusconi Lawyers, against the Head of Government and the Secretary of Finance of Mexico City, due to their failure to issue the rules that would allow the Reconstruction Fund of Mexico City, amounting to $5 billion pesos, to be used in favor of the victims.
